WHAT IS THIS BOOK?
“The life of the body is the soul; the life of the soul is God.”– St. Anthony of Padua
The intent of this book is to unfold the truth about God in our souls. When an individual encounters the goodness of God’s love, this love reveals the truth about God, namely that He has created that soul with an everlasting love. God is not only a Creator, but also a Father. The desire for God in our souls is hidden to our eyes and hearts. Our souls are made for God alone and can find rest in God alone. This is the mystery between our souls and our Maker.
Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Thus truth was never in the world until it came through Christ, who Himself is the Truth. This book reveals the truth that Christ is the only Savior of our souls. Every word He uttered was for a purpose, and His words are the source of eternal life. Christ finished the task of giving truth to the world by giving the words of life to the world through His life.
4 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of a teacher, that I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. Morning by morning he wakens — wakens my ear to listen as those who are taught. Isaiah 50:4 (NRSV).
When He was lifted up on the cross, He cried out and said, “Father, it is finished.” What exactly did He mean by “finished?” In the prophecies of Isaiah, it is clearly explained:
11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 (NRSV).
The love of the Father was revealed through the acts of Christ. God, looking at the misery of humankind, established the real meaning of true love. To love is to give Yourself. God being Spirit, He gave Himself to the world as a sacrificial love in flesh through His Son, Jesus Christ. The job of Christ is to make known the name of God. The works of God in our souls reveal this whole plan of God coming in flesh to live among humankind and be our Shepherd forever.
He came in flesh to give Himself to the world, make His name known, and teach the world that He is unfailing love.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. John 3:16 (NRSV).
His only desire was to dwell in every soul He has created, so that we may experience the power of His love truly within. All of us may seek the voice of God in every moment of our lives to make our journeys on earth meaningful. God is a closed book to us until we refuse to believe in ourselves and surrender our whole being in order to receive instruction and perfection in our lives. The intention of this book is to explain to a soul that Christ has come almost as a slave of God to fulfill the divine will of God for humankind. I hope this book will help each reader see God in everyone and live together in unity. This result is possible when the unfolding of truth happens in our souls, that is, when our souls recognize that every soul is created in the image of God. Because of this reality, all people are called to live in perfect unity and harmony. The constant love of God perfects our souls.
